Israeli cybersecurity startup Jazz launched its AI-driven data loss prevention platform on CrowdStrike’s Falcon Foundry on August 31 at Fal.Con 2026 in Las Vegas, marking a major step in the company’s push to replace rule-based DLP systems with contextual, AI-powered investigation.
The company’s product, called Melody, is now installable in a few clicks by existing Falcon customers. It runs directly inside the Falcon console and requires no separate infrastructure.
Why Legacy DLP Failed
CJ Moses, chief information security officer at Amazon, put it bluntly at the conference. “In my experience, DLP providers have never done what DLP actually, the acronym, stands for,” Moses said. “They’ve never done the data loss prevention.”
Jazz CEO Ido Livneh, a co-founder and former Axonius leader, says the company set out to build something different. “We didn’t build yet another pattern match or another rule-based system,” Livneh said. Jazz built “a context-first, business-first investigator that understands your business, understands not only what is happening with the data flows, but why it’s happening, the intent.”
Traditional DLP tools generate thousands of daily alerts with little actionable signal. Jazz says Melody cuts that volume down to a small number of validated, high-confidence risks, each delivered with evidence already attached before it reaches an analyst.
How Melody Works
Melody investigates each data flow across four dimensions: the data itself, the systems it moved between, the people involved, and the business process behind the transaction. The agent weighs millions of signals and surfaces only those that represent genuine risk.
The product covers GenAI use, shadow IT, desktop applications, and personal cloud accounts. It runs at under 1% CPU and does not require rules, regex configuration, or a browser extension to deploy.
Falcon Foundry is CrowdStrike’s low-code development platform, introduced at Fal.Con 2023 and made generally available in October 2024. It allows security teams to build or install applications that run on Falcon data without standing up separate infrastructure.
Accelerator Win Drove Rapid Growth
Jazz emerged from stealth in March 2026 with $61 million in combined Seed and Series A funding. Glilot Capital Partners and Team8 led the round, with participation from Ten Eleven Ventures, Merlin Ventures, Encoded Ventures, MassMutual Ventures, and others.
Days later, Jazz won the third annual CrowdStrike-AWS-NVIDIA Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator at RSA 2026. Nearly 1,000 startups applied. Thirty-five were selected for the eight-week, equity-free program. Jazz beat the field before a panel that included CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz, Amazon CISO CJ Moses, NVIDIA’s Bartley Richardson, and investor Robert Herjavec.
The business results followed fast. “Since winning, that’s just only a quarter and a half ago, we more than doubled our book of business,” Livneh said. “We almost tripled our revenue. We 5x our inbound leads, we 10x our pipeline.”
Current customers include Lemonade, AlphaSense, and CAVA.
What It Means for Enterprise Security Buyers
The Falcon Foundry listing gives Jazz direct access to CrowdStrike’s large enterprise customer base. For security teams already running Falcon, the low-friction deployment path removes a common barrier to adopting new DLP tools.
CrowdStrike introduced Falcon Data Security at RSA 2026 in March, pitching it as a solution to stop data theft across what it called the agentic enterprise. The Jazz integration fits directly into that product strategy.
