Xiaomi released its MiMo-V2-Pro large language model on March 19, achieving performance levels that approach top-tier AI models at a fraction of the operating cost. Third-party benchmarking organization Artificial Analysis verified the claims, ranking MiMo-V2-Pro at #10 globally on its Intelligence Index.
The model scored 61.5 on ClawEval, a benchmark for agentic scaffolds, coming close to Claude Opus 4.6’s score of 66.3 while significantly outpacing GPT-5.2’s 50.0. On coding-specific tests like Terminal-Bench 2.0, MiMo-V2-Pro achieved an 86.7 score.
Cost efficiency sets MiMo-V2-Pro apart from competitors. Running the complete Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index required only 77M output tokens, compared to 109M for GLM-5 and 89M for Kimi K2.5. The model’s pricing starts at $1 per million tokens for input within smaller contexts.
