  • OpsMill raised $14 million Series A led by IRIS Capital with participation from Benhamou Global Ventures and existing investors
  • Company’s Infrahub platform reduced service deployment times from five days to 15 minutes for cloud provider Eurofiber Group
  • AI-driven IT operations market worth estimated $220 billion with demand for network automation tripling since 2023

OpsMill announced May 7 it raised $14 million in Series A funding to expand its infrastructure data platform that gives AI agents and engineers a unified view of enterprise IT environments.

IRIS Capital led the round with participation from Benhamou Global Ventures and existing investors Serena Capital and Partech Partners. The Paris-based startup will use the funding to expand engineering and product teams and develop data-centric AIOps capabilities.

Founded in 2023 by CEO Damien Garros and COO Karen Gallantry, OpsMill built Infrahub to solve what it calls a fundamental data problem in infrastructure automation. The platform uses a graph database to map connections between hundreds of thousands of infrastructure elements across physical, virtual and cloud environments.

“Automation is ultimately a data problem and if you only have a partial view of your network, you’re flying blind,” Garros said.

European cloud services provider Eurofiber Group cut service deployment times from five days to 15 minutes after deploying Infrahub. The platform validates and approves every proposed change through a governed DevOps-style process before deployment.

The timing aligns with growing enterprise adoption of AI-driven automation. Gartner forecasts 30% of enterprises will automate more than half of their network activities by 2026, up from under 10% in mid-2023. The average enterprise loses $300,000 per hour of downtime before reputational costs, according to the ITIC 2024 Hourly Cost of Downtime Report.

“The race to adopt AI in enterprise infrastructure is real, but most organizations are trying to build on foundations that were never designed for it,” said IRIS Managing Partner Julien-David Nitlech. “Without clean, structured, trustworthy infrastructure data, AI-driven operations simply cannot function at scale.”

OpsMill offers Infrahub in two versions: a free open-source community edition and a paid enterprise edition. The open-source community includes TikTok, while enterprise customers span retail, insurance, manufacturing and fintech across Europe and North America.

The company competes with infrastructure automation providers like Itential, NetBox Labs and Pulumi but positions itself around data quality and governance before automation occurs. Garros previously worked at Juniper Networks, Roblox and Network to Code.
