Quick Facts
- Nvidia launched its open-source Agent Toolkit at GTC 2026 with 17 enterprise partners including Adobe, Salesforce, SAP and ServiceNow
- The platform features OpenShell runtime for policy-based security guardrails and claims over 50% query cost reduction through hybrid AI models
- CEO Jensen Huang announced Nvidia has visibility of $1 trillion in orders, doubling the $500 billion forecast from the previous GTC event
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang unveiled the company’s Agent Toolkit at GTC 2026 Monday, signing 17 major enterprise partners in a strategic push to dominate the AI agents market. The open-source platform enables companies to build autonomous AI agents that can complete assigned tasks independently.
The partner list reads like a who’s who of enterprise software: Adobe, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Siemens, CrowdStrike, Atlassian, Cadence, Synopsys, IQVIA, Palantir, Box, Cohesity, Dassault Systèmes, Red Hat, Cisco and Amdocs.
The toolkit’s centerpiece is NVIDIA OpenShell, an open-source runtime that enforces security and privacy guardrails for what Nvidia calls “claws” — individual autonomous agents. Built with LangChain, the platform tops DeepResearch Bench accuracy leaderboards while cutting query costs by more than 50% through a hybrid approach using both frontier and open models.
“Claude Code and OpenClaw have sparked the agent inflection point — extending AI beyond generation and reasoning into action,” Huang said during his keynote. “The enterprise software industry will evolve into specialized agentic platforms, and the IT industry is on the brink of its next great expansion.”
The market opportunity is substantial. The global AI agents market reached approximately $7.6-7.8 billion in 2025 and is projected to exceed $10.9 billion in 2026. Gartner forecasts that 40% of enterprise applications will embed task-specific AI agents by 2026, up from less than 5% in 2025.
Early adoption numbers validate the demand. IQVIA has already deployed more than 150 agents across internal teams and client environments, including 19 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies.
Salesforce is integrating the toolkit with its Agentforce platform for service, sales and marketing applications. The collaboration introduces a reference architecture where employees use Slack as the primary interface for Agentforce agents powered by Nvidia infrastructure.
SAP is implementing the toolkit through its Joule Studio on the Business Technology Platform, enabling customers and partners to design agents for specific business needs. Adobe will use the platform as the foundation for hybrid creativity, productivity and marketing agents.
Huang positioned the announcement within Nvidia’s broader growth trajectory, revealing the company now has “line of sight to $1 trillion in orders,” double the $500 billion outlined at the previous GTC event. “We have strong confidence and visibility of $1 trillion plus of Blackwell plus Rubin,” he said, referring to Nvidia’s current and next-generation chip architectures.
The strategic positioning is clear: Nvidia is giving away the agent operating system to ensure the entire enterprise AI ecosystem generates demand for its core GPU products. As Huang noted, every company will need an “OpenClaw strategy” similar to how organizations developed Linux, internet and mobile cloud strategies.
