Quick Facts
- NeuBird raised $19.3 million led by Xora Innovation, bringing total funding to nearly $64 million
- The company’s AI agents have resolved over 1 million alerts and saved more than $2 million in engineering time since December 2024
- Platform reduces mean time to resolution by up to 90% and cuts alert noise by 78% through integrations with PagerDuty, Datadog, and Slack
NeuBird has closed a $19.3 million funding round to expand its autonomous AI site reliability engineering platform. Xora Innovation led the oversubscribed round, with participation from Mayfield Fund, M12, StepStone Group, and Prosperity7 Ventures.
The funding brings NeuBird’s total raised to nearly $64 million. The company will use the capital to scale its Hawkeye and Falcon agents, which prevent production issues and resolve incidents autonomously by correlating telemetry data across hybrid cloud systems.
NeuBird was founded by Goutham Rao and Vinod Jayaraman, who previously built Portworx and sold it to Pure Storage for $370 million in 2019. The duo has a track record of successful exits, including Ocarina Networks (acquired by Dell) and Net6 (acquired by Citrix).
Since launching to general availability in December 2024, NeuBird’s platform has delivered measurable results. The company reports resolving more than 1 million alerts while saving over $2 million in engineering time. Teams using the platform see mean time to resolution drop by up to 90% and alert noise cut by 78%.
“Every engineer we talk to spends most of their time responding to incidents. This productivity loss is not sustainable,” said Vinod Jayaraman, co-founder and CTO. “NeuBird AI helps teams prevent IT issues before they escalate.”
The company recently launched NeuBird AI Falcon, extending its capabilities beyond incident response to include predictive risk detection and infrastructure cost optimization. The platform operates across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud using read-only telemetry access, ensuring no raw data leaves customer networks.
NeuBird enters a competitive market dominated by players like BigPanda, which has raised $340 million and achieved a $1.2 billion valuation. Other competitors include Resolve AI with $160 million raised and Shoreline with $72 million across Series A and B rounds.
The AIOps market reached $14.4 billion in 2026 and is projected to hit $41.6 billion by 2030, growing at a 30.3% compound annual growth rate. Multi-cloud complexity and shortages of site reliability engineers are driving demand for autonomous operations tools.
“When we first invested in NeuBird AI, we saw a team that understood what modern IT and production operations require,” said Michelle Gonzalez, CVP and Global Head at M12. “NeuBird has turned that vision into an enterprise-grade agent operating alongside engineers in live environments.”
Industry data validates the problem NeuBird addresses. Engineers spend approximately 40% of their time managing incidents rather than building new products. Nearly 80% of companies report that up to half of their on-call engineers experience incident-related stress.
The company has gained recognition through acceptance into the AWS Generative AI Accelerator and Microsoft Pegasus Program. NeuBird also earned AWS Generative AI Competency and was named to CRN’s 10 Hottest DevOps Startups list.
