  • NetSuite is adding over 200 AI features to its ERP platform at no additional cost to customers
  • CEO Evan Goldberg advocates for an ‘autopilot’ AI approach that embeds capabilities directly into business processes
  • The company serves over 40,000 customers globally and generated $0.7 billion in revenue in 2023

NetSuite CEO Evan Goldberg believes artificial intelligence should function as an autopilot rather than a copilot for business operations. Speaking at the SuiteConnect London 2026 event on March 31, Goldberg outlined how his company is rebuilding its ERP platform around AI to democratize access to advanced business intelligence.

“We are embedding AI-powered capabilities across the suite so customers are benefiting from it as soon as they log in,” Goldberg said. “By ensuring AI is built into existing business processes and not bolted on, we are helping our customers achieve immediate value from the latest AI innovations at no additional cost.”

Oracle plans to add more than 200 AI features to NetSuite to improve productivity, user experience, and operational functionality. This contrasts with competitors like SAP and Microsoft Dynamics, which require premium add-ons for AI capabilities.

The approach appears to be working. Organizations using NetSuite integration report a 40% increase in data accuracy across connected platforms. AI implementation delivers 13% higher click-through rates, with some organizations seeing 41% revenue increases from personalization in NetSuite e-commerce capabilities.

“AI has changed so much, so rapidly,” Goldberg explained. “Our approach is to build it deeply into the system, so that we’re reinventing NetSuite from the ground up around AI.”

NetSuite EMEA SVP Nicky Tozer noted increased market optimism at the London event. “Things that haven’t been happening for a while are starting to happen again,” she said, highlighting recent investment increases and “more hopeful strategic priorities.”

The timing aligns with broader market trends. The ERP software market reached $135.9 billion in 2024, marking a 9.4% year-over-year increase. Gartner projects that by 2026, AI-embedded ERP will shift from differentiator to standard feature.

NetSuite’s strategy focuses on democratization. The company has always aimed to “make it easy to adopt, easy to use,” according to Goldberg. This philosophy extends to AI implementation, where finance teams, HR, sales, and operations staff can activate AI features without specialist IT involvement.

The company announced Autonomous Close at SuiteWorld 2025, designed to reduce month-end financial closing from days to hours. NetSuite Next, featuring conversational and agentic AI, is rolling out through 2026.

With over 40,000 customers globally and 70.4% of ERP deployments now cloud-based, NetSuite’s embedded AI approach positions the company to capitalize on the growing demand for intelligent business automation without the complexity of separate AI tools.
