Quick Facts
- Anthropic launched Claude Marketplace on March 6, 2026, with six initial partners including Snowflake, GitLab, Harvey AI, and Replit
- Enterprise customers can use existing Anthropic spending commitments to buy third-party AI tools without additional procurement processes
- Anthropic forgoes commission fees, unlike AWS and Azure marketplaces, to deepen enterprise relationships
Anthropic launched Claude Marketplace, an enterprise-focused store that lets customers purchase AI-powered software from third parties using their existing Anthropic spending commitments. The marketplace went live March 6 with six initial partners.
The launch partners include Snowflake, GitLab, Harvey AI, Rogo, Replit, and Lovable Labs. These companies offer diverse AI tools ranging from Lovable’s no-code website builder for non-technical users to Harvey’s legal contract drafting platform and Rogo’s financial data analysis software.
Unlike Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure marketplaces, Anthropic collects no commission on third-party sales. Enterprise customers with annual Anthropic commitments can redirect portions of that spending toward partner tools without separate procurement cycles.
“Claude Marketplace isn’t Anthropic trying to replace those products. It’s Anthropic investing in them — making it easier for enterprises to access the best Claude-powered tools without managing a separate procurement process for each one,” an Anthropic spokesperson said.
The marketplace addresses enterprise demand for streamlined AI procurement. Companies already paying Anthropic six or seven figures annually can now purchase data tools from Snowflake or developer environments from Replit within the same budget line.
Anthropic’s run-rate revenue reached $14 billion, growing over 10x annually for three consecutive years. The number of customers spending over $100,000 annually on Claude grew 7x in the past year.
The launch comes as Anthropic faces regulatory challenges. The Defense Department designated the company a supply chain risk, requiring defense contractors to certify they don’t use Claude models. Anthropic is the first American company to receive this designation, typically reserved for foreign adversaries.
Despite Pentagon restrictions, consumer adoption surged. More than one million people signed up for Claude daily this week, pushing it past ChatGPT and Google Gemini as the top AI app in over 20 countries on Apple’s app store.
The marketplace competes with ChatGPT’s app ecosystem, though OpenAI’s focus targets individual consumers rather than enterprises. Anthropic’s enterprise-first approach reflects the company’s positioning following its $30 billion Series G funding round at a $380 billion valuation in February.
“Claude is increasingly becoming critical to how businesses work,” said Krishna Rao, Anthropic’s Chief Financial Officer. “This fundraising reflects the incredible demand we are seeing from these customers.”
