Salesforce Launches Help Agent With Flat $2 Per-Resolution Pricing for AI Customer Service

Quick Facts

  • Salesforce’s Help Agent, built on Agentforce, can be deployed in six clicks or less and goes generally available in July 2026.
  • A new pay-per-resolution model charges a flat $2 only when an agent resolves an issue autonomously from start to finish.
  • Agentforce has reached $800 million in ARR, up 169% year-over-year, with 29,000 deals closed as of Q4 FY26.

Salesforce is launching Help Agent, a prebuilt AI customer service agent designed to get companies running in minutes. The product sits on the Agentforce platform and connects to company knowledge bases, actions, and communication channels including web, text, and voice.

Help Agent is configured in six clicks or less. It ships alongside a redesigned Customer Service Portal built around a single conversation bar. When customers describe a problem, the portal returns personalized responses and dynamic AI-generated cards that let users complete tasks without leaving the conversation.

The portal also includes proactive service capabilities. Using real-time Data 360 signals, it can detect issues and trigger automated support before a customer contacts an agent. Both Help Agent and the Customer Service Portal will be generally available in July 2026.

A New Pricing Model

The most significant part of the announcement is pricing. Salesforce introduced a pay-per-resolution model that charges a flat $2 only when the agent resolves an issue on its own from start to finish. Companies pay nothing if the agent fails to close the ticket.

Prasad Raje, Senior Vice President of Product for Agentforce Service, said the goal is to remove complexity from billing. “It’s a flat price of $2 when a resolution is achieved,” he said. Companies do not need to estimate whether a support answer required two actions or 25, or track how many minutes a voice call consumed.

Kishan Chetan, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Agentforce Service, said customer demand drove the shift. “There’s a strong demand from our customers to have a more opinionated service-specific solution, which is prepackaged and delivered,” he said. On the pricing change, Chetan added: “Just consuming a token doesn’t mean they get a return on investment. You can attribute your spend to value.”

This is the third pricing model Salesforce has shipped for Agentforce in roughly 18 months. The company launched at $2 per conversation, shifted to Flex Credits at $0.10 per action in May 2025, and added per-user licenses starting at $125 per user per month before this latest model.

Growth Numbers

Salesforce reported Agentforce ARR of $800 million, up 169% year-over-year. The company has closed 29,000 deals, up 50% quarter-over-quarter. The broader Agentforce and Data 360 product line reached nearly $1.4 billion in ARR by Q3 FY26, up 114% year-over-year, making it the fastest-growing product category in Salesforce history.

More than 60% of Agentforce and Data 360 bookings in Q4 FY26 came from existing customer expansion. Deal count has climbed from 5,000 in Q4 FY25 to 18,500 in Q3 FY26 to 29,000 by Q4 FY26.

Internal Results

Salesforce has run Agentforce on its own Help site since October 2024. The company says it has delivered over 2 million customer interactions and reduced its own case volume by 8%, according to Jim Roth, President of Customer Success at Salesforce.

Salesforce also reports that early adopters have seen a 33% improvement in customer satisfaction scores and a 32% reduction in case resolution times. The company says Agentforce Service can offload up to 72% of routine inquiries to AI agents, freeing human support staff for more complex work.
